High school training only (Ages: High School)

High School ski racing is a huge part of Wisconsin skiing culture! We offer training with Mad Alpine one evening per week to high school athletes looking for extra training during the season. Our focus is to provide this group with a high quality training environment where they are challenged and supported. This group will have access to the same high level coaching staff that coach our full race program athletes.

  • A high level of support from professional experienced coaching staff. All coaches are USSS certified or actively working towards certification. All coaches are background checked and SafeSport trained.

  • Minimum of 8 weeks of supplemental training with MadAlpine starting in Mid-December.

  • 1 training session per week Tuesday OR Thursday 5:30PM-8:00PM. Families may choose which session they attend.

  • Video analysis at select training sessions.

  • Timing at select training sessions.

  • Additional training opportunities during the season will be announced when available.

  • Coaching at Mad Alpine Holiday Camp.

  • Tentative High School Training Program Schedule: Tuesday OR Thursday 5:30PM-8:00PM. Families may choose which session they attend.

  • Program cost: $350. Fees can be paid online in full at time of registration or through a 3 installment payment option. Register by 10/31 to secure the best rate.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Enrollment in a local high school race program.

  • Equipment:

    • Athletes must have and bring their own ski equipment.

    • Equipment should meet High School Race event guidelines. See Equipment tab for more details.

    • NO twin tips during practice sessions.

    • Helmets must be worn at all Mad Alpine practices and events. Helmets with solid shells covering both ears are required for some race events.

  • Lift tickets: Lift tickets are NOT included in program registration. Season passes are encouraged. Lift tickets should be purchased directly from Tyrol Basin and must be worn at each practice session.
